The designers are Johann TITSELAAR and Bernard JONGSTRA from Amsterdam. The two meet in high school, and are stimulated by friends to start making jewelry. In 1990, the brand GEM KINGDOM is established. The brand name GEM is a representation of precious stone, noble people, and value, while KINGDOM expresses a peaceful country ruled by kings or queens. Their philosophy to carefully examine history, uncovering valuable findings, and connecting them to the present, appeals to us regardless of time, generation and nation.
